A master plan process is underway for Ardmore, with a focus on the Lancaster Avenue business district. Amrani's coffee, pastry, breakfast and lunch spot is in a renovated former Radio Shack location that had hidden all the architectural details. It's a showcase for the sort of redevelopment the plan hopes to encourage.

French brothers Joseph and Antoine Amrani opened this charming café and patisserie in 2017, bringing their decades of culinary expertise and a rainbow of macarons to their little corner of Lancaster Avenue. If you don’t feel like indulging your sweet tooth, you can find lunch items like croque monsieur sandwiches, salads, and quiche.
