French pastry shop Delice et Chocolat brings sweetness to Downtown Ardmore with delicious pastries, danishes, cakes, and artisan chocolates.
French pastry and chocolate shop Delice et Chocolat is bringing sweetness to Downtown Ardmore with delicious pastries, danishes, cakes, and artisan chocolates, all made on-site, according to a staff report from the PhillyBite Magazine.
Ardmore’s newest eatery, owned by brothers Joseph and Antoine Amrani, also features an espresso bar offering smoothies, sandwiches, salads, and house-made quiche.
Customers can take their treats to go or relax inside the cafe, designed with a lovely French Parisian bistro aesthetic.
“We are thrilled to add another specialty dining establishment to our Downtown Ardmore family,” said Christine Vilardo, Executive Director of the Ardmore Initiative. “We welcome brothers, Joseph and Antoine Amrani, as they bring a little bit of Paris to Ardmore with their high quality French pastries and cozy, cafe atmosphere.”
The brothers, natives of France, developed a deep love and understanding of French pastries during their time there. Antoine Amrani, trained at the Ritz-Escoffier in Paris, puts his unique spin on classic French treats, creating beautiful and delicious works of art. Meanwhile, Joseph Amrani brings experience in opening and operating restaurants.
The brothers are already looking at adding an additional cafe and production areas in a nearby available space.
